    Pentagon chief Hegseth says ‘warrior’ Japan indispensable to deter China

    TOKYO: US Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth stated on Sunday (Mar 30) that Japan was indispensable in tackling Chinese language aggression by serving to Washington set up a “credible” deterrence within the area, together with throughout the Taiwan Strait.

    “We share a warrior ethos that defines our forces,” Hegseth instructed Japanese Defence Minister Gen Nakatani at a gathering in Tokyo.
