    China and Hong Kong condemn ‘bullying’ following deal struck amid US stress.

    China is scrutinising a deal struck by a Hong Kong firm to promote ports on the Panama Canal to a United States monetary agency.

    Beijing directed a number of businesses on Tuesday to look at the transaction, in response to Bloomberg Information. The deal was earlier hailed by President Donald Trump, who has accused China of looking for to manage the strategic waterway.

    Hong Kong’s CK Hutchison stated earlier this month that it had agreed to promote most of its international ports enterprise value $22.8bn, together with property close to the Panama Canal, to a bunch led by US-based funding firm BlackRock.
