Chile’s authorities imposed a curfew and declared a state of emergency in response to a sweeping blackout that lower electrical energy to many of the nation together with the capital, Santiago, on Tuesday.
The huge outage, which started within the afternoon, affected eight million households throughout the nation, from the northern port metropolis of Arica to Los Lagos within the nation’s south, officers stated.
