    PlayStation Network back online, firm says

    The PlayStation Community is now again on-line, the service has stated, after it skilled a multi-hour outage that started on Friday night.

    PlayStation stated the community had now “absolutely recovered” and apologised for the disruption, however didn’t disclose what triggered the issue.

    The outage rendered the web elements of video games akin to Fortnite, Name of Responsibility, Grand Theft Auto and Marvel Rivals inaccessible, and triggered points with license verification of offline single-player video games.

    In line with DownDetector, the issue started simply earlier than midnight on Friday evening.

    In a message on X, PlayStation stated: “Community providers have absolutely recovered from an operational problem. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank the group for his or her persistence.

    The outage led to a flood of complaints on social media channels from around the globe.
