    Singapore sends condolences to US over Washington air crash

    SINGAPORE: Singapore on Friday (Jan 31) expressed its condolences to america over the collision of a passenger plane and a military helicopter in Washington that left 67 folks lifeless.

    Singapore’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs (MFA) additionally mentioned on Friday that there have thus far been no experiences of Singaporeans being impacted by the incident.

    “The Singapore authorities conveys its deepest condolences to the US authorities and to the households and family members of those that have perished within the tragic air crash between American Airways Flight 5342 and a US Military Black Hawk helicopter close to Reagan Nationwide Airport on Jan 29, 2025,” an MFA spokesperson mentioned in a press release.

    “The Singapore embassy in Washington DC is involved with US authorities. Up to now, there are not any experiences of Singaporeans affected on this accident.”
